Problem Note 62645: The object spawner or metadata server rejects connection attempts and the "Too many files are open" message appears in the server's log

In environments with clustered metadata servers or object spawners, the server could fail to correctly clean up TCP session pipes between the clustered servers. This behavior leads to the number of open pipes progressively increasing and can eventually lead to the process reaching its maximum limit of open file descriptors. When this limit is reached, the following message begins appearing in the associated server logs:
Too many files are open
To work around the issue, restart the server processes.
